Hi Wendy--Great way to kick off the rockin' party! Loved the YouTube videos. I have to go out and cut back my pumpkin patch. It appeared out of nowhere! We never planted it, but so far, three beautiful pumpkins have ripened. Do you think the Great Pumpkin will stop by here? It's a very sincere pumpkin patch. I think some squirrel dropped a pumpkin seed last year and it just grew!

I love your book trailers and the bold book cover. Kids should have lots of fun with your book. It is very appropriate for the upcoming holiday. Opening up the party with ROCK ROCK ROCK was definitely an attention grabber!

Wendy, absolutely amazing work! Here is a prompt, just for fun. You are carving a jack-o-lantern and decide to eat one of the pumpkin seeds when you suddenly realize that a pumpkin vine is growing inside you. What is the antidote?

Hi Sam, what fun:
Wide-eyed, Luke catapulted off the porch swing, one hand clutched his stomach, while the other tried to stem the green tide of leaves sprouting from his mouth. He coughed and a confetti of miniature pumpkins bounced down the front steps. Calloused hands gripped the back of his dungarees and hauled him to the freshly tilled vegetable patch. "Son, can you do that again?"
